Computational Electromagnetics (CEM), Characteristic-based algorithm.
This study used characteristic-based algorithm in the numerical simulation of the effects of metal shielding box on metal strips mounted on perfectly grounded substrates. The predicted induced currents are presented in frequency domain. It is the objective of the present work to investigate the feasibility of the application of such algorithm to the field of electro- magnetic interference considerations. Further efforts on more practical problem setups, its predicted data may provide useful information for designers of electronic products.
