Fault diagnostic, in the context of an effective maintenance plain, is becoming a key element in order to increase qual ity and quantity of industrial production. Recently, the efforts to create systems capable to recognize machinery faults have been intensified. Scope of this paper concerns with the application of artificial neural networks in order to identify the health conditions of mechanical systems in a completely automatic mode.
