Non-invasive measurement, medical imaging, temperature monitoring, hyperthermia
The ultrasound temperature estimation during microwave hyperthermia was successfully performed in animal in vivo experiments. The pivotal clinical study performed during hyperthermia clinical treatment exposed some technical problems caused by interferences of high frequency electromagnetic field and our measuring equipment. We have also performed experiments with ultrasound heating equipment. The ultrasound hyperthermia was found more compatible with the ultrasound temperature estimation than previously expected.
