Abstract

Weisers vision [4] on ubiquitous computing may benefit from interaction between autonomous software agents and context-aware applications. The paradigm underlying the latter, where an application uses knowledge related to a set of environmental states and settings to determine and adapt the applications behavior is called "Context-Aware Computing". The work presented in this paper describes an architecture supporting context aware computing in wireless ubiquitous computing environments based on a multi-agent scenario. The focus is on the interaction of software agents to form a "Context Interest Community" based on a context interest discovery algorithm.
