Abstract

The emergence of ad-hoc pervasive connectivity for devices based on Bluetooth-like systems provides a new way to create applications for mobile systems. Nowadays research efforts seek to realize ubiquitous systems based on the cooperation of autonomous, dynamic, and adaptive components (hardware as well as software), which are located on the vicinity of one another [1] [2]. This paper presents our initial research efforts on the CB-SeC framework (CB-SeC stands from Context Based Service Composition) that implements parts of this vision. The approach adopted in this framework is the deployment of intelligent agents, in order to provide better user-tailored services in wireless environments.
