3G congestion management, SLA , intelligent agents.
Managing resources to meet service level agreements becomes more complicated and yet more crucial in 3G networks since the underlying W-CDMA technology gives an inherent flexibility in managing the system capacity. This paper introduces and shows the benefit of using intelligent agents in managing resources to meet the SLAs. The results demonstrate the potential to maintain the QoS under congestion.
