Discrete Event Simulation, Simulation Tools, Large Data Visualization.
Achieving an interface with a high degree of interactivity while relieving the operator of information congestion is the primary factor behind the design of the simulator fron tend. An examination of the motivations, difficulties, and the actual implementation of a tightly integrated simulator is provided. This paper investigates the problem with re spect to a massive data producing simulator, RTTPS, and relates design considerations behind the specialized com ponents required to provide such an interface. Methods found useful for structuring a visualization program using the Java programming language are explained.
