-Simulator with optimal step time(SOST) is a simulator that has been designed to research Large HVdc/ac systems. The adequacy and robustness of the simulator will be proved showing some important applications relevant to operation, operational planing and medium term planing .Listed below are some unique features of SOST simulator. Optimal step time algorithm, interpolation, chatter removal, MATLAB interface, unlimited size of ac systems, Farsi Command , ... are essential if you are modeling complex power electronic circuits, they provide you with fast and accurate results.
