This Paper presents a control scheme for a PWM rectifier which can be used in electrical energy generation systems with variable speed turbogenerators. The rectifier control consists of a power controller with an inner current control loop which operates in the d-q reference frame. The performance of the developed control scheme is illustrated using computer simulations.
