Abstract

This is the third part of the study on using neural networks in Power system topology identification. The first two parts (Part I - Line processing [1] and Part II - Node processing [2]) were presented at previous IASTED PES conferences. In this paper a multiplayer percepton neural network is used to help identify the state of an unsupervised part of the power system. The experiment is performed on a slightly modified IEEE 24-node network. The results are presented and discussed.
