Abstract

A helicopter pilot behavioural model was developed by the De- fence Research and Development Canada to conduct various flight manoeuvres in a modelling and simulation environment that incorporates the Helicopter Deck Landing Simulator, the Simulated Operators for Networks on the Integrated Performance Modelling Environment and the Language of Agents for Modelling Performance. This paper describes the tuning of the fuzzy controller for simulating pilot behaviour. The results of tests showed that the system performance was improved with the tuned parameters.
