Abstract

In this paper, we examine the modelling of a non-linear model of the wind turbine system with two masses by the bond graph methodology, and we show some of the benefits of this graphical approach in contributing a model for a wind turbine system. This model consists of real parameters. So, we look for to determine the state equation. To control this model, we have to use the sliding mode formed with a simple and robust way of setting. Sliding mode control may produce an undesirable phenomenon of oscillations that have a finite frequency, which is known by chattering. It leads to many bad consequences such as law control accuracy, high wear of moving mechanical pieces and high heat losses in electrical power circuits. This can be one of the main obstacles in the implementation of sliding mode control. We have used MATLAB in our simulations, and the results show the efficiency of the two proposed approaches.
