Abstract

Logic-based switching adaptive controller is used to control Lorenz system with unknown parameters. By exploiting Lyapunov theory, the adaptive control method is derived. Based on switching mechanism, all uncertain parameters are estimated centrally. The dynamic performance and robustness of the Lorenz system are both guaranteed by the design. Rigorous proof demonstrates global asymptotic stability of chaotic controlled system. Numerical example is given to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the adaptive control technique.
