Hydraulic control systems, linear graphs, particle swarm optimization, modelling of dynamic systems
In this paper, the approach of linear graphs is combined with a modified particle swarm optimization procedure for efficient and effective extraction of parameter values in a model of an engineering system. The approach is applied to the hydraulic positioning system of an industrial fish cutting machine. Both computer simulation and experimentation are used to validate the developed approach. The results show that the combined approach of model parameter identification, as developed in this paper, is able to accurately determine the parameter values in complex engineering models.
