Abstract

The dynamic analysis of a two-stage pressure rate controllable relief valve is studied. The modelling of the system has been performed with the help of bondgraph simulation technique. While modelling the system, various non-linear characteristics of the valve are considered. The simulation study identifies some critical design parameters, which have significant effect on the transient response of the system. The simulation results have been verified with the experimental data.
