Innovations in technology are transforming traditional approaches to education and learning. Students, teachers, and administrators, as well as researchers and policy-makers, all have a stake in how best to integrate technology into the educational process. Technology for Education and Learning is an interdisciplinary journal that explores all aspects of this integration. The topics covered include learning theory and technology, policies on technology-based learning, online learning, simulation and gaming, software and hardware used in the learning process, Internet applications and activities, virtual reality and its applications, curriculum development and instruction, technology and training, workplace learning, mobile learning, human resource issues and development, computer-supported collaborative learning, innovative teaching practices, ubiquitous computing for learning, instructional design theory and application, assessment and evaluation, distributed and multi-agent systems, artificial intelligence, and mathematical modelling and informal learning. Technology for Education and Learning evolved out of Advanced Technology for Learning, an ACTA Press journal in publication from 2004 to 2008.
