Abstract

This paper considers the design problem of robust mixed H2/H∞ controller for uncertain systems with time delay. Its objective is to design a controller that minimizes the upper bound of the H2 performance measure satisfying some H∞ norm bound constraint. By building an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional with a controller limited by a stability condition with H∞ control, we obtain the delay-dependent criteria to stabilize uncertain systems with a minimal upper bound of H2 performance measure. Two typical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
