A model for Cu-Cu electrode system that takes into account two electrodes and activities of species is derived in this paper. The system comes into sight from voltammetric measurements of the electrochemical substances used in plating chemistry. The model makes it possible to reconstruct physical quantities directly not available for measuring, e.g. concentration profile, thickness of stagnation layer and electrode overpotentials that can be useful for control-design purposes. A model proposed is simulated and verified against measurements.
