The Analysis of the Directional Couplers with Chiral Materials using Finite Element Method

The utilization of Chiral materials in waveguides has been recently increased. Directional coupler with chiral is One of these applications. The analysis results of directional couplers with chiral material will be discussed in this paper. For this purpose, the finite element method is used for calculating of electromagnetic waves and the coupled mode approach is applied for investigating the coupling process between two waveguides.
